Air Jet Spin
Air Jet Spinning is a modern spinning technology that produces yarn using compressed air instead of a traditional spindle and traveller (as in ring spinning).
It is widely used for high-speed yarn production, especially for cotton blends and synthetic fibres.
- Drawn sliver enters drafting unit.
- Fibres are drafted to required thickness.
- Fibres pass through air nozzles.
- Compressed air creates vortex twisting.
- Yarn is wound directly onto package.
