SS316 Stainless Steel

SS316 Stainless Steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel grade with the addition of molybdenum, which significantly improves its resistance to corrosion, especially against chlorides and harsh chemical environments. It conforms to standards such as ASTM A240 Type 316 and is widely known for its excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. SS316 offers good strength, high temperature resistance, and outstanding toughness even at elevated temperatures. It has excellent weldability and formability and remains non-magnetic in the annealed condition. Due to its superior corrosion resistance and durability, SS316 stainless steel is extensively used in marine equipment, chemical processing plants, pharmaceutical machinery, food processing equipment, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and industrial fittings.

SS304 Stainless Steel

SS304 Stainless Steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel grade conforming to ASTM A240 Type 304, equivalent to AISI 304 and EN 1.4301. It contains approximately 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which provide excellent corrosion resistance, good strength, and durability. SS304 offers outstanding weldability, formability, and fabrication properties, making it one of the most widely used stainless steel grades. It has good resistance to oxidation and moderate chemical exposure but is less resistant to chlorides compared to SS316. In the annealed condition, it is non-magnetic and maintains good toughness even at low temperatures. SS304 stainless steel is commonly used in kitchen equipment, food processing machinery, storage tanks, architectural structures, piping systems, and general industrial applications.

SS310 Stainless Steel

SS310 Stainless Steel is a high-temperature austenitic stainless steel grade conforming to ASTM A240 Type 310, equivalent to AISI 310 and EN 1.4845. It contains high chromium (around 24–26%) and nickel (19–22%) content, which provides excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion at elevated temperatures. SS310 is specially designed for high-temperature service and offers outstanding strength, toughness, and thermal stability up to approximately 1100°C in intermittent service. It also provides good resistance to scaling and thermal fatigue. Due to its superior heat resistance properties, SS310 stainless steel is widely used in furnace parts, heat treatment equipment, boilers, kilns, radiant tubes, heat exchangers, and other high-temperature industrial applications.
